Our summers here in the Yuba City area, bring some very high surface temperatures. How much does a ceramic coating installation actually cost?

How long does a ceramic coating take, and how long will I be without my vehicle?
It depends which package you choose. Tier 1 is a same-day service – drop it off in the morning, pick it up that
afternoon. Tier 2 takes two days. Tier 3 takes three days, because the coating cures indoors overnight,
typically, between day two and day three.
Every coating we install cures inside our shop, above 65°F, out of the weather – never outside, and never
rushed out the door early. That’s the part most people don’t ask about, and it’s the part that decides whether a
coating actually performs. When your vehicle leaves here, it’s ready for rain the same day.
Working around a commute, or a school run? Tell us when you need it back, and we’ll tell you honestly whether we
can hit it.
How do I choose a good ceramic coating shop?
Price varies, but so does quality. Before booking anywhere, ask: Is the shop insured? Is there a real warranty on the work? Is polishing included before the coating? Does it come with any aftercare and long-term maintenance? Will the work show up on your CARFAX, helping to prevent any penalties for lack of maintenance? Generally speaking, the life expectancy of a ceramic coating is determined by which coating is applied, how the vehicle is stored (inside vs. out in the elements) and how the vehicle is cared for. A quality product should last the stated duration of the product manufacturer by doing nothing more than regular hand washing, and a chemical iron decontamination service once or twice a year as needed. Look for a reputable installer, doing quality work, using quality coatings. Proper maintenance is the key.
